I’ve had this laptop only 2 yrs if that and never had a battery problem. It’s usually always plugged in. I woke up one morning to a blinking battery light. It blinks, orange orange orange blue.

Just trying to figure it out so I don’t have to call Dell support 
Thinking it might have a battery issue, but it says it’s 100% charged. Thanks in advance!

This usually means that your battery has a lower charge, 15% or less left, you could simply try turning off you computer, taking out and then reinserting the battery.
The user manual with the computer should explain what the indicators mean..
Meanwhile –
Remove the battery while it is still plugged in, test it by pushing the little indent next to the indicators on the battery, then plug it back in. That might do the trick.
