I need to uninstall google chrome and reinstall it and keep all my bookmarks.

Been awhile since I used Chrome, but presumably you can Export your bookmarks to an HTML file that can be imported by another browser.
Then you can uninstall chrome.
Choose not to remove your personal data when performing the uninstall.
Or if you want to be on the safe side, copy your bookmarks from C:\Documents and Settings\username\Local Settings\Application Data\Google\Chrome\User Data\Default
and then paste it back once you reinstall. But you will probably don’t need this if you uninstall correctly
